/download. Holy Shit, son. To be fair to everyone else: This isn't very Industrial. With that said, I skeptical for the first 12 seconds. Then until :35, I was waiting to see if my opinion was going to change: Yes, sir! I was with you up until 1:22 when the other beeping came in, but the 1:37 bit was nice. It's so short too! Normally I'm fine with short tracks [I'm generally 2-3 minutes each myself] but I just wanted this one to be longer. So 5 Stars from :35-1:22 and fewer for the rest.

Dyrdi responds:

Ha, thanks :)

I messed up the project after 1:49, as it started to be Hardcore with some Wobble FX Bass.
Didnt liked that part and it became very repitive for me in that short time,
so it was best (in my opinion) to leave it the way it is.

It may be used as teaser/trailer for some game/flash movie ( if someone's interested :)? )

My choice of Industrial: There has been no "Breakbeat" as genre, too bad :(

We can tell it was rushed, which is a shame. There is promise here if you're willing to go back and maximize the potential of each sound. For 90 minutes though, the foundations are there.

Septyrikon responds:

Yeah, I had a spark of an idea, but since I'm currently in the process of writing a project, I'm sort of pressed for time :D Once this whole ordeal is over, I might go back and re-work it, although I'm not altogether fond of doing so. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

I would put "Demo" in the title of the submission, or something similar in the future. With that being said: Your synth and guitar work is enjoyable, but the drum work sounds bland in comparison, especially your main snare: :17-32 and again at the end. The section between the two bits with the problem snare I enjoyed quite a bit.

It's a shame is is so quiet and tame, it's otherwise enjoyable.

While your bassline isn't too shabby, it alone cannot carry the rest of the piece. I did, however, like the track more after 3:00, but that wierd pseudo-vocal pattern was virtually your only contrast to your lower pitched sounds and just didn't work for me. Very orderly, and sane.

Digiguy responds:

Thanks. I did make this late at night, from about 12 am to 4 am, so I didn't expect it to be amazing.

"I lash out and show everyone..." Hmm. I didn't get lashing out from this one. This has the build-up feel to it. This has the 'I'm ABOUT to explode' feel. The pressure is rising. I can hear the smile though, the knowledge that when the explosion happens, it will come with a cathartic sense of enjoyment. I like the project, however.

ZLEAP responds:

This is the moment when the negative energy begins to seep from me. Men, women and children alike can see this storm off in the distance. And all they can do is wait for their impending doom to come for them.

I see how my description seems a bit misleading. But you saw right through it.

8 Bit Forever!

The bass and percussion drag this down. I enjoyed this the most 4:03 - 5:14. I like the idea, though. Thanks for posting.

It's glitch-tastic. Would you be willing to go to the dark side of sonic destruction on this one? The sounds here are so clean, as most of yours have been thus far. I hear some of the sounds and patterns in this one teeter on the edge of gritty and I want to push them over. Join us.

Yqarus responds:

Thanks.
Is that an invitation? ^^
Sure, I will join.

This has much promise. I very highly recommend going back into this project and giving it some depth, as in some low, deep texture to round out your sound. What you have is good, but it feels incomplete.
