I recall seeing this suggestion in the forums before, you could trying reanimating some threads.
And i agree it's a bit lacklustre to get just the one comment to leave behind that is thereafter set in stone for all time but what are the odds of that ever getting adressed, it took @VicariousE a herculean campaign just to get this snazzy latest/oldest post button in the blogs after the order was changed on a whim.
Next time Tom makes a post (due very soon), ask him about it! I know he'd also like the ability to edit reviews, for the same reason(s) you mentioned! Dunno about an option to delete, seems a logical choice, though I don't recall Tom having mentioned adding it.
