Perhaps. It's discouraging.
Been here on and off since the turn of the millenium prior to bothering registering an account.
It allways fluctuates, people come and go as time goes by, back in the day it was a lot more obvious as there was far less content and only random things going viral drew in fresh blood.
Fortunately I'm not here for money or anything of the sort, but I do miss there actually being momentary interactions between people. Almost a bit of a community, perhaps.
