I wasn't sure how I fit in here, originally. Then I listen to the song and I actually had a 'ah, there it is' moment.

Having worked with Lich and HG (extensively) but not Phonometrologist (yet), this was fun for me to listen to and see the similarities. I loved every moment of this.

Phonometrologist responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed what you inspired. Would love to collaborate sometime, but I just don't what my role would be in the process. Something we'll have to think about in the future as I don't have much experience in working with others via online.

Glad to see you back, and doing what you've always done so well.

Yqarus responds:

Thanks!
I just started... :)

The Synth is a neat addition. It is playful, childlike, innocent even, when compared to the rest of the piece. This is a 'quest complete' track: a sigh of relief, a moment to look upon what was saved - and then the children come in and remind us they get to run and play again.

This was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to.

Phonometrologist responds:

When reading your description, I thought about how it also compares to salvaging our own hearts from a desolate life. To keep our motives pure and to see the future optimistically as a child would almost seems impossible unless we were to gain new lens.
I find your sentiments to be completely accurate to the track.
Thank you for letting me know.

This is a fantastically fun track, worth repeated listens. I'm glad to have been brought here.

Quarl responds:

Heyo, I've been meaning to give a solid listen to that pipe bomb mix but I'm working over time this week. Sounded dooooope on my phone but I must haz all the frequencies my headphones can offer.

Thanks for letting me know you gave this track a listen. Assembly Lines is a personal favorite of mine. Tis my crack baby :0

it is a shame this wasn't finished. I went and checked. I would have liked to see the full version too.

weemeee responds:

Yeahh, I have about 100 or so projects that I dropped, this was unfortunately one of them.
Thanks for the review though.

this has a nice creeping doom quality to it. someone is going to axe murder you as soon as you turn the corner. i like it.

SlaughterClub responds:

thanks brother was learning to use massive vst at the time good software ;-)

This reminded me of bobble bobble, which is nice.

However, I'd love to hear this without the extra processing. This is harsh to hear, and not in a pleasant 'this is industrial' way. It's just overdone. I'm not sure if this is a overdrive effect, or levels too high, etc., but I'd genuinely like to hear this done properly. I bet this could be a wonderful track.

FlaksterMusic responds:

I really appreciate the criticism! Yeah, my early mixes tend to have too much saturation on them, I only just figured out how to fix it two days ago haha. It’ll sound much better even before the vocals are laid down

this is an intense looking sound wave lol

DESHIEL responds:

how did you even find this haha
