Glad to see you back, and doing what you've always done so well.

Yqarus responds:

Thanks!
I just started... :)

The Synth is a neat addition. It is playful, childlike, innocent even, when compared to the rest of the piece. This is a 'quest complete' track: a sigh of relief, a moment to look upon what was saved - and then the children come in and remind us they get to run and play again.

This was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to.

Phonometrologist responds:

When reading your description, I thought about how it also compares to salvaging our own hearts from a desolate life. To keep our motives pure and to see the future optimistically as a child would almost seems impossible unless we were to gain new lens.
I find your sentiments to be completely accurate to the track.
Thank you for letting me know.

I'm not entirely sure why, but the ludicrously blown-out speaker sound was exactly what I needed right now. Refreshing in all the wrong ways, I imagine - like walking downstairs through sticker-covered walls into a place that's all too crowded and listening to shitty music but somehow there's nowhere you'd rather be.

This is a fantastically fun track, worth repeated listens. I'm glad to have been brought here.

Quarl responds:

Heyo, I've been meaning to give a solid listen to that pipe bomb mix but I'm working over time this week. Sounded dooooope on my phone but I must haz all the frequencies my headphones can offer.

Thanks for letting me know you gave this track a listen. Assembly Lines is a personal favorite of mine. Tis my crack baby :0

I try to listen to a piece three times before writing something, generally speaking. You made this time consuming, lol.

Around the 10 minute mark - the machine hits were my particular favourite. I thought of the best game of all time (go ahead and @ me) Chrono Trigger. The desolate future and the struggle for survival.

I think this is a big long in the tooth, but a nonetheless well done piece for what it aims to do.

I close my eyes and wonder where it takes me. Someone of malicious intent stands triumphantly in their sanctum. Big, Long, Fire lit halls, capes are flowing, no guards - there is no need - only he remains. Whatever ceremony or ritual etc... but there is no hurry for there is no threat. Absolute confidence. Swagger. You can hear the smile here. it's there in the undertone keys. This is movie trailer music.

I didn't like the last piece, so I wanted to make sure I listened to something else :) . Here it is, something much better.

I just wanted to say the name of the track, by it self, was intriguing. Sometimes I wonder how titles pop into people's heads. I laughed.

When this first came out, I didn't care for it as much. It grew on me and has been a part of my playlist for however many years now. The image I always have in my head is someone is fucking next door and the headboard is banging against the wall and there's nothing you can do about it, the bed is creaking creaking creaking creaking creaking. MAKE IT STOP.

Plan Slowly, Execute Quickly. Don't Think, Just Dance.
