I'm working on the kick. I'm upgrading both software and hardware so it's taking some time to get back to work. Soon. And you are correct. I never have to tell anyone I'm crazy. They just know. I am what I am because of disorders that have gone undiagnosed for 26 years now. Of course, for fellows such as ourselves, this is bittersweet. In my most imaginative state, I couldn't imagine being unimaginative. I have the spark and most people don't. I'm a shitty human being, but I'm an interesting artist to say the least. (Self assessment is hardly ever an accurate statement.)

May I suggest going back into your mix and work on re-mastering. Try to establish a healthy baseline first, such as the overall master at -3db. You've some distortion here that sounds like you were simply trying to push too much volume through and your quality suffered as a result. Once you've eliminated that distortion, I would re-post.

I've noticed that problem a few days after I posted it, turns out my compter's volume was really low when I was making that song....

Now my problem is that I had a computer issue a while back and no longer have the song file to fix it, so this is the best I've got without just rewriting the entire song.

/download. I love tracks like this, ones that have a lonely feel to them. I agree that the guitar could use a tweak or two but I wouldn't change too much. This is a track I can see growing on me and being played quite a bit. Thanks for posting.

What was the inspiration for this one? I'll admit, I was reminded of "Control" by Traci Lords. Anyone else miss the mid 90's right now? I'm getting off topic. Not only do I like this track, I've liked several of yours now, so consider yourself in another favorite's list.

I'm still trying to figure that out for myself. I had strayed, quite substantially, from what my original intentions were. I wanted to write something that felt broken. A song with missing melodies, harmonies, and rhythms, written in such a way that your brain automatically fills it in. If that's making any sense; I'm babbling a bit.

For the most part, though, it was just me thinking that 'Catch and Release' would be a cool name for a genre or subgenre of music. It was a relatively incomplete thought. Thanks for Reviewing!
