Since I'm not your minion, I guess I can't enjoy this. That's too bad, else I would have wrote something supportive here :) .

Jettero responds:

Hah! Well thanks for the stars and review anyway. In time you might convert. Let me get better first.

/download. The mesmerizing quality to this is is really well done. I found myself looping this while writing one of my books, it never got old. Adding this to my playlist, well done.

SlaughterClub responds:

cheers dude it was fun to make glad you enjoyed ;-)

I enjoy this more starting at 1:37. The energy level picks up, it's a nice groove.

Most of this is well done. Your Gong? right around :37 and :43 just doesn't work. The contrast between it and every other sound in the piece is significant enough for it to draw more attention than it needs to and takes away from that section of the piece as a whole. If you still have the project files, I would recommend a higher quality bell sample to achieve your desired message, and a deeper/punchier kick throughout the rest of the piece. I think this piece has a lot of promise.

RaydisST responds:

Hi Anchorwind, thanks for the rating and reply! Also what you've said is exactly what I'm looking for thank you! I do have the files backed up in an archive but the software is all fritzing for now, when I get it all working again ill def implement and try out the changes. Back when I did this song I believe I only had default instrument packages so hopefully the sound quality of everything in general will also improve! Again thank you for your reply and your time :D

I didn't get "Soft and Calm" from this. I heard more of a "Kind and Happy." Less of a Frozen Terrain and more of the Inn at the Snow-Covered City. Still not too shabby either way. P.S. Set it to loop when you submit :) [music - loop] instead of [music - song].

RaydisST responds:

Hmm never thought of it that way, but now that you mention it I do see your point hehe, and thanks, I completely missed that in the audio submission page, I'll not forget that on the next looped upload.

I enjoyed this, almost as much as I enjoyed Toxic Acid. Thanks for posting!

SlaughterClub responds:

thanks man its not great but was feeling sick all day best i could do at the time

The section from 2:08-3:30 is my favorite of yours since Poison Throne. Keep those Instrumentals coming [or let some of us do some instrumental remixes :) ]!

Lich responds:

Thanks for the review.
Haha, anyone is more than welcome to remix any track of mine that they want in any shape or form :)

/download. I was listening to understand, and then the laughter around 1:36 just rubs it in. Well placed. I think most of us truly ill [as opposed to those who claim such as if its a badge of honor to proudly display] have discovered the links between our illnesses and our creativity. If you're bored at some point: want to try a deeper kick? Perhaps even just a louder kick. Needs Zazz.

ZLEAP responds:

I'm working on the kick. I'm upgrading both software and hardware so it's taking some time to get back to work. Soon. And you are correct. I never have to tell anyone I'm crazy. They just know. I am what I am because of disorders that have gone undiagnosed for 26 years now. Of course, for fellows such as ourselves, this is bittersweet. In my most imaginative state, I couldn't imagine being unimaginative. I have the spark and most people don't. I'm a shitty human being, but I'm an interesting artist to say the least. (Self assessment is hardly ever an accurate statement.)

I still think your uptempo, dark stuff, is your best stuff. Particularly 1:07-1:38.

May I suggest going back into your mix and work on re-mastering. Try to establish a healthy baseline first, such as the overall master at -3db. You've some distortion here that sounds like you were simply trying to push too much volume through and your quality suffered as a result. Once you've eliminated that distortion, I would re-post.

KiraLiske123 responds:

I've noticed that problem a few days after I posted it, turns out my compter's volume was really low when I was making that song....

Now my problem is that I had a computer issue a while back and no longer have the song file to fix it, so this is the best I've got without just rewriting the entire song.

Plan Slowly, Execute Quickly. Don't Think, Just Dance.
