[Madland Preview Track]

Looking forward to hearing the final version!

[Shrouded]

This sounded less like a single track and more of a concept sketch for a few related tracks that you were brain storming. With that in mind, I did enjoy the section from :40-:56 the most. It reminded me of the good old TVT and Wax Trax! days.

[DB - Keep Going {WiP2}]

This has promise. I would recommend adding diversity in the drum works. It's a little too upbeat to be a droning mechanical piece, but too plain to be much else. Perhaps adding a break beat, changing the tempo, changing patterns periodically - some sort of diversity that maintains the attention of the listener. Look forward to the next version.

what i was planning on doing is adding a breakdown and a build-up to a dubstep drop.

[The Conflict]

This is strangely enjoyable, actually. Ignoring 0:00-1:01 | It has a hip-hop, jazzy, quality to it that - while not industrial - still has an appealing groove. Given any thoughts to a darker, more abrasive, remix?

disclaimer - darker and more abrasive is my thing. Take that as you will.

Sorry it took so long to see your comment, I've been away from NG for quite some time. But you're right this for sure has a more hip hop/jazzy quality to it and I should have labeled it as thus. As for the more dark/abrasive kinds of mixes this is what I will be aiming to do in the future! Thanks for listening.

Drastically different but it wouldn't be any different than it is now.

I am speaking of the divine spark with that comment.

There is a certain degree of vanity in what we do. We see and hear things that others do not. We are the perpetually unappreciated and yet we continue on. The starving artist. If history is as told, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn would make the choice to let his family starve rather than run out of paint.

We do what we do out of necessity. We are driven. In a way, we are better than they are. They, being the unimaginative. The plain. The flat and shallow. We are with vision and know the difference between art and popular thought. We have somehow risen above the nature of man. And we know this wholeheartedly.

If not for our status above the human condition, we would still be wallowing in the filth. The human condition, for me, is bittersweet. I feel more connection to you, pixilated stranger, than I do to the man right beside me. You get it. We are it. We are the movement.

I can tell you were bored, the lower tempos just don't suit you as well. Or, perhaps more accurately, your lower tempo dark projects don't work as well.
